The process of adding document templates in viggoVet

Updated over a week ago

1. Access Document Templates

  • Navigate to configurations.

  • Locate the document template section.

2. Add a New Document Template

  • Choose the type of template to add (HTML or file).

  • Note the difference:

    • File: Upload a Word document with variables and customizations.

    • HTML: More flexible and easier to use.

3. Create a Constant Form Template

  • Select 'constant form' as the document type.

  • This document will relate to patients and act as a general form.

4. Define Variables for the Document

  • Use double Guillemet Angle brackets to define variables (e.g., «clinic name», «address»).

  • These variables will link to patient information.

5. Input Document Details

  • Copy and paste the title and date into the document.

  • Adjust table properties (e.g., set width to 100%).

  • Make any changes you prefer.

6. Use HTML Source Code (Optional)

  • If using HTML, paste the source code into the document.

  • Save the document after pasting.

7. Link Variables to System Variables

  • Ensure each variable corresponds to the correct system variable (e.g., client name, patient ID).

  • Create custom variables as needed.

8. Add Custom Variables

  • For additional features, use the drop-down to add custom variables (e.g., procedure name, signature).

9. Finalize the Document Template

  • Review all fields and press 'done' to save the template.
